Employee handbook Development and Updates
- Evaluate and update current handbook, or develop and implement a new handbook when necessary
- Assist management to evaluate employee performance;
Perform audits to ensure proper documentation of employee performance appraisals
- Review essential job responsibilities and competencies to create a job description that has been priced to ensure market and internal equity
- Audit personnel files and provide record retention schedule for personnel documents
- Work with leadership to identify successors and create development opportunities
- A formal approach to complaint resolution by providing a third-party intervention to help resolve management/employee conflicts
- Develop and implement a variety of programs targeted at improving motivation and productivity
- Provide consultation to managers on sensitive employee relation issues
- Help companies prepare for restructuring employee groups to maintain productivity and morale, and avoid litigation
- Assist and consult on proper hiring and termination techniques
- Set up reduction-in-force policies and procedures and implement the program including announcements, employee meetings, termination package design, etc.
